Improve participation in your Cross Country

OVER $420,000 HAS BEEN RAISED BY ST PATRICK’S COLLEGE SINCE COMBINING THEIR CROSS COUNTRY WITH THE SCHOOL FUN RUN!

When Grant Andrews was the Sports Master at St Patrick’s College in Strathfield he wanted to improve the participation rate in their School Cross Country. Grant called the School Fun Run office and said that only around 10-13 kids out of 360 were running in their school cross country.

At the time the School Cross Country at St Patrick’s was not a compulsory event, and as such, only the kids with representative aspirations took part.

Since combining their School Cross Country with the School Fun Run their participation rate soared to 100%… and the school has raised over $420,000 to boot! Not bad for a school not looking to fundraise!
