It's not about raising money; it's about raising students and raising Community culture. As you can see from the results, all the students are having fun. They will talk about this for years to come and the PNC loves doing it and we (the school) love being part of it!

With three weeks of fundraising left, we’ve exceeded what we would make at a spring fair. It's a very inclusive way of coming together for a community.

The dollars came in and as it started going up through $10k, $20k, $30k, $50k, 80k when it reached a $100,000 we thought this is absolutely amazing!

This is the most phenomenal and the most amazing fundraiser that I’ve ever done, and it's not just from a fundraising perspective, but definitely from a community building perspective. To see the fun, to see the aspect of ‘we're in this together’, to see the sense of ‘we want to make that positive difference’, it's been amazing.

“We ran school fairs (school fetes) previously and it was so much work and we raised half as much money so for one day it's been great. The support that we received from the School Fun Run office was absolutely awesome!

“We've done other fundraisers in the past and let's just say in comparison the School Fun Run is just so easy. In the past we've done fates and all sorts of things where all the teachers end up spending their own money and so many hours of their own time. With this, it's the opposite, they just turn up and School Fun Run has done all the work for us. They just turn up and they have the most fun out of the whole year.

“This has been our most profitable fundraiser all year. Our fundraising was amazing. We didn't just meet our goal, we absolutely smashed it which was fantastic. The planning was fantastic, the guys from the School Fun Run helped us out which was amazing.

“We love the logistical side of it because it's just not a headache to us at all, it all just happens and the kids who are keen go hard for it. It's a dream event for us as a school.

“This is the most amount of money that we've raised, it is absolutely astounding. If there's one thing that a P&C can do throughout the year it's definitely hold a School Fun Run Crazy Colour Day and just have an awesome amount of fun with it.

“We've raised a huge amount of money for the school, which is really exciting and as you can see, just fantastic fun! It's definitely an easier way to fundraise than doing 50 million sausage sizzles.

“Raising $91,000 this year is beyond all expectations. The School Fund Run just seems to be getting bigger and better and I can't wait to organise next year's event.

“The fundraising effort was the easiest way of doing fundraising. We did everything online. The website was very easy for students to use, the profiles were (easy to) set up so no issues whatsoever. Friendly staff (at School Fun Run were) very engaging and we could get all our questions answered in no time.

“The School Fun Run brings so much fun to our kids, so much colour, so much energy, it's just fantastic and the kids just seem so happy and everyone's happy and that's the best thing about our day.

“This was a lot of fun, a lot of parents squealing more than the kids, it was great. The fundraising's been a lot easier because it's been online, we haven't had to handle cash at school. There's been a wider scope of family that could be contacted through the internet, so we've got donations from around the country even overseas.

“For our school community, today has been absolutely fantastic. 100%... all schools should be doing this. This is a fantastic way to raise money, I’ve had local schools in my area raise tens of thousands of dollars through this program.
